Ruled by Mars and the element of Fire, it repels negativity, breaks curses, and drives off hostile spirits and unwanted visitors. Use a small pinch in banishing or exorcism incense, or place it (sparingly — the scent is strong) in a protection mojo or at a threshold to turn back harm.
