Queen City's Lucid Lotus is a distilled infusion of blue lotus, Nymphaea caerulea, the flower the Egyptians steeped in wine for the festivals of Hathor and painted rising from the waters at dawn. It is made in small batches in Toronto for dreamwork, trance and anointing.
Anoint the temples, the third eye or the pulse points before sleep or before sitting. The scent is soft, floral and faintly sweet, closer to a night garden than a perfume. Practitioners have used blue lotus for centuries to open the dream state, deepen trance, and bring a warm, lifted ease into the body and the evening.
Use it for lucid dreaming practice, astral and dream journaling, meditation and trance, ritual anointing of the body or of candles and tools, and for evenings shared with a partner.
