Ruled by Mercury and the element of Fire, fennel's powers are protection, healing, and purification. Hung at the door or stuffed into keyholes, it was believed to turn away evil spirits; grown or carried, it guards health and lends strength and confidence against those who would do harm.
Pairs well with: Dill Seed, Hyssop, St John's Wort, and Black Salt.
