Wormwood is the dark, smoky herb of the scryer — burned to raise spirits and open the sight.
Ruled by Mars and the element Fire, its powers are psychic awareness, protection, and the calling of spirits. Burn it (often with mugwort) to aid scrying and summon helpful spirits, carry or hang it for protection, or use it in workings that part the veil. Traditionally an ingredient of absinthe and old bitter remedies — kept here for magical use only.
Pairs well with: Mugwort, Black Obsidian, Amethyst, White Sage, and the Black Mini Candle.
