Apophyllite is a window to the higher floors of yourself: glassy, often pyramid-tipped crystals, frequently from India, that clear the mind and open a calm, bright channel to guidance.
History & lore. Apophyllite is treasured as a stone of the angels and of Reiki, said to carry a bright, calming light that releases mental blocks and held-in emotion. Its naturally clear tips are used for scrying and for sensing energy, while the stone as a whole brings a peaceful, present stillness.

Pairs well with: Clear Quartz (amplify), Amethyst (spiritual calm), Celestite (angelic), Desert Rose (clearing).
Care & cleansing. Fairly soft and brittle, so handle gently and protect the tips from knocks. Cleanse briefly under cool running water or with smoke, and recharge in moonlight. (Note: this stone is newer to the classic texts, so its lore draws on contemporary crystal sources.)
